Education Abroad Events

Student Workshops

Workshops and webinars are offered throughout the year to ensure students have the necessary information and tools needed to begin planning for a successful experience abroad. These offer a great way to connect with staff, as well as network with other students interested in education abroad.

Education Abroad Expo

The Office for Education Abroad hosts a large event during the school year where students can explore all of MSU's education abroad programs in one location. Colleges and faculty program-directors are on-hand to share information about opportunities all around the world.

Learning Abroad Conference

Education Abroad participants and current MSU international students are invited every year to share stories about their experiences abroad. Participating in the Learning Abroad Conference gives you an opportunity to share your story about studying abroad, and learn from the experiences your fellow Spartans have around the world or right here in East Lansing.

Photo Contest

One of the long standing contests in the Office for Education Abroad is our photo contest. Students submit some of the best snapshots from their time abroad for a chance to win prizes.
