The Center for Global Learning and Innovation is pleased to announce a fellowship opportunity intended to provide professional development to MSU faculty and academic specialists who wish to incorporate global teaching and learning into:
The fellowship consists of a series of sessions on global learning pedagogies in spring 2027, followed by project preparation that culminates in implementation by summer 2028. Project themes could include
Project formats include infusion of global content into existing courses, conducting original research, impact assessments, etc. Preference will be given to projects without international travel components.
Upon project completion, successful fellows will share their project with their academic units, and promote it through poster presentations or sessions at the Global Learning Seminar Series, Student Success Launch and Summit, Spring TALKS Conference, or Faculty and Academic Staff Affairs (FASA) Academic Lunch & Learn Session.
An honorarium of $1,500/fellow will be available for use in support of projects.*
Eligible fellows must be MSU faculty or academic specialists with anticipated teaching, research, and/or curriculum development appointments in 2027-28.
We anticipate welcoming up to 10 fellows to the Global Learning Fellowship in 2027.
