Have you every wanted to study in the USA? Does the idea of taking classes alongside local American and other international studies sound great? How would you like to spend your weekends exploring cities like Chicago and Detroit or right here in East Lansing at a Spartan football game?

If so, the American Semester Program & Exchanges (ASP&E) might be of interest to you.

ASP&E is a fully-integrated study abroad program at Michigan State University that offers participants the opportunity to be a part of the Spartan community for one semester, an academic year, or short term over one of our three-week short course programs.

American Semester Program

The American Semester Program allows students from any university abroad to experience a semester or year at Michigan State University as a visiting student.

Exchange Programs

Exchange Programs allow students from one of MSU's partner universities to experience a semester at MSU as a traditional international student.

Short Courses

Students who participate in the Short Courses program will take one 3-week course at MSU while getting a taste of Michigan and Midwestern culture.
