Guide to MSU Education Abroad Programming

Welcome to the Guide to MSU Education Abroad Programming. Here you will find information on developing and implementing effective programs.

The guide consists of clickable modules. The modules are numbered, representing the basic flow of the education abroad programming process. If you are new to education abroad you should progress through the modules in the numbered order.

Health and safety are foundational to education abroad. The Office for Global Health, Safety, and Security is a key partner to a successful program. They can assist with risk mitigation during program design; pre-departure planning; health and safety training for program directors; responding to incidents abroad; among other services.
