Research abroad is an interactive, discovery-based experience that teaches and engages students about the numerous components involved in the research and creative process. Research abroad can be done in conjunction with faculty or conducted independently, and it can encompass a wide variety of fields.
As students learn and work on essential components of the research process, they develop enhanced analytical skills, improve their oral and written communication abilities, and experience an increase in self-confidence. Research abroad provides students the opportunity for professional and personal development in a positive and productive environment.
