Today is the general deadline for students to apply for a 2026-27 winter break education abroad program.

NOTE: A majority of our programs use this application deadline, but if a program has an adjusted application deadline, it will be listed on the program brochure page.

Today is the deadline for Education Abroad Scholarships and Undergraduate Research Scholarships for students participating in a 2027 spring program.

Join the African Studies Center for African Tea Time as they discuss the MSU education abroad program, Sustainable Community Development in Tanzania.

A panel of 2026 alumni will talk about their time in Tanzania, focusing on their pre-departure expectations and their experiences during the program, especially course readings, discussions, field excursions, interactions, and reflections on Maasai/Hadzabe/Tanzanian cultures. They will also share their takeaways from the experiential team projects they implemented in the host community. Lastly, they talk about the impact of the program on their personal, educational, and career growth.

During spring break students can learn about the culture of the Central American country of Belize while also participating in a community engagement project.
