Experiences of LGBTQIA+ individuals vary greatly across cultures, countries, and communities. Join us for a thoughtful conversation exploring the diverse realities, challenges, and strengths of LGBTQIA+ communities around the world.
This discussion will examine how cultural traditions, laws, social norms, and community networks shape experiences of identity, belonging, advocacy, and inclusion. Participants will have the opportunity to learn from global perspectives and consider how greater awareness and understanding can foster more inclusive environments both locally and internationally.
Presented in collaboration with the MSU Center for Gender in Global Context (GenCen) Dr. Alejandra Marquez Guajardo, and Dr. Shayan Rajani, this webinar will highlight the importance of intersectionality and global solidarity in advancing equity and inclusion.
