Virtual International Learning Opportunities offer valuable global experience without the need to travel. These programs are offered in an online format with provider organizations and partner institutions where MSU has an existing relationship.

Participating in these virtual programs can…

  • connect you with students and faculty from around the world
  • allow you to be part of a global classroom while staying local
  • offer you amazing cultural opportunities and a global foundation for your degree
  • be less expensive than a traditional traveling experience

Many options also offer experiential learning components, such as internships or research, that provide an opportunity to be more competitive in the job market.

Last but not least, virtual programs allow for more flexibility in event of global situations like the COVID-19 pandemic.
