My friend and I could barely swim because of the strong waves. We decided to walk around and get some Churchills (Costa Rican shaved ice). As we were leaving I caught a surfer trying to ride some waves. I'm not sure he was able to surf or not.

International Engagement in Mexico Chiapas group going down the Rio Grande River.
During Spring Break 2023 I had the opportunity to study abroad with the International Engagement in Mexico program. I was able to volunteer in Chiapas and do some local sightseeing. The most fun location we experienced was a boat trip traveling through Rio Grande and learning the history of this region.
