During my time here, the class took a trip to Kavala City, which was amazing. I personally loved Kavala City. I loved learning about the history of all the different buildings we were able to see. One of the pictures is my group in the Fortress of Kavala Castle.

Another amazing experience I encountered in Greece was during our Perpeto Camp. During Camp Perpeto, we were learning all about people with disabilities. We were learning about how they adapt to everyday life as well as play adapted sports. We also learned how to play many different adapted sports. My personal favorite was wheelchair rugby. I liked it because it was a very team-oriented sport. I thought it was fun because Students playing wheelchair rugby in Greeceof the teamwork and the small number of rules.

After the camp was over, we went on another excursion. We went kayaking down the Nestos River. The views that we were able to see during the excursion were breathtaking. The river was gorgeous. This was a very fun class adventure that we had. We were also able to stop along the river and have a little picnic.

Without receiving this scholarship, I’m not sure that I would have been able to experience all of the amazing things that I did. I am forever grateful to the donors. It was the experience of a lifetime.
