The Office of Global Health, Safety, and Security is hosting a training session related to navigating student mental health and behavior abroad.
While this session was initially designed for education abroad program directors, the content may be of interest to anyone who supports international programs or engages with students in a global context. The training will focus on case-based scenarios and equip participants with practical skills related to de-escalation, high-risk incident response, and supporting student well-being. The session will be co-led by mental health experts from the MSU Employee Assistance Program, and we aim to create a collaborative, confidential, and discussion-based space.
