Gender, Sex, and Feminism in the UK is an ideal program for students who are interested in exploring the
intersections of these identity categories outside of a traditional classroom context. This program is designed
and supported by the Center for Gender in International Context, and foregrounds the global perspectives that
are at the center of all three undergraduate degree programs offered by the GenCen.
Students will be encouraged to conceptualize London as a site of international contact throughout the program, with particular emphasis on the ways in which the large refugee and foreign born populations of London impact the gendered dynamics of daily life and feminist politics in the city.
This program fulfills significant portions of the requirements for the minor and major in Women's and Gender Studies or the minor in LGBTQ and Sexuality Studies.
