Jordan Cleland Global Learning Coordinator Office for Education AbroadBiography: Jordan Cleland is a Global Learning Coordinator with primary responsibility for administering education abroad programs offered through the Lyman Briggs College and coordinating Domestic Study Away programs. She also assists with international internships and non-MSU programs.
From the Thumb of Michigan originally, Jordan is a Michigander born and raised. She did her undergraduate studies at the University of Michigan - Ann Arbor and earned two degrees in Political Science and Japanese Studies. After graduation, she moved to Akita, Japan as part of the Japan Exchange Teaching (JET) Program and lived there for two years. Upon moving back to Michigan, Jordan decided to pursue her Master's in International Education Management from the Middlebury Institute of International Studies of Monterey, California. Her last semester of her degree she completed a 6-month practicum internship at Michigan State University’s Center for Global Learning and Innovation and now serves as a Global Learning Coordinator. Jordan enjoys Zumba, reading, and cats.
